DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation & AI Innovation

About the role

You will be a key contributor to building and maintaining a zero‑downtime, cloud‑native platform. Working on a greenfield initiative, you will leverage modern infrastructure and automation tools to support engineering teams while exploring AI‑driven DevOps solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure, and seamless deployments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of the platform using managed services.
• Implement proactive observability with DataDog and related tools to monitor health, performance, and security.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including patching, encryption, secrets management, and IAM.
• Continuously improve DevOps processes and contribute innovative ideas.
• Explore and embed AI technologies into DevOps workflows.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and IaC principles.
• Proven expertise in the AWS ecosystem (EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS/Aurora) and networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, API Gateway, load balancing, WAF).
• Comfortable with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Istio, and deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary.
• Familiarity with cloud security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector) and vulnerability management/patching.
• Observability mindset with experience using DataDog or similar tools.
• Experience in embedding AI into DevOps processes is a plus.
