Despatch Supervisor

About the role

Unitrans is seeking a Despatch Supervisor to lead its dispatch operations with precision and excellence. In this role you will oversee the movement of goods from our facilities to customers, ensuring that every shipment meets our quality and accuracy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily dispatch processes and coordinate the logistics team to achieve timely deliveries.
• Verify goods against orders and invoices, confirming quantities and specifications before shipment.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness and condition.
• Record and manage any discrepancies, damaged items or missing documentation.
• Maintain and enforce quality‑control procedures throughout the dispatch workflow.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transport and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly.
