Dealer Support Manager

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at Chery South Africa’s head office in Johannesburg. The Dealer Support Manager will manage dealer relationships, provide guidance, analyse sales data, develop performance‑boosting strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, sales techniques and operational processes.
• Track dealer performance, sales targets and customer satisfaction, offering guidance to meet objectives.
• Address dealer concerns, resolve issues and act as liaison between dealers and the company.
• Assist dealers with marketing initiatives, promotions and advertising strategies.
• Monitor dealer inventory levels and coordinate timely delivery of vehicles and parts.
• Ensure dealers adhere to company policies, procedures and brand standards.
• Collect feedback on customer needs, market trends and product performance for strategic planning.
• Prepare regular reports on dealer performance, sales and market conditions for senior management.
• Collaborate with dealers to uphold high standards of customer service and resolve complaints.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
• Technician qualification.
• Experience in the automotive industry (non‑negotiable).
• OEM experience is considered an advantage.
