Data Center Technician – Infrastructure Operations

About the role

We are seeking Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. In this role you will be the primary resolver for hardware, fiber, and networking issues across AWS data centers, ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and promote the highest safety standards, leading safety initiatives within the team.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and network problems, including physical component replacement.
• Troubleshoot incidents to meet internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and document findings.
• Handle and lift equipment in accordance with regulatory weight limits.
• Collaborate with other AWS groups on complex issues to drive solutions.

Required profile

• Strong focus on safety and ability to champion a world‑class safety culture.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑center hardware and networking equipment.
• Ability to work independently as the primary resolver while collaborating across diverse technical teams.
