About the role

We are seeking a diligent Conveyancing Secretary to join our legal team in Houghton, Johannesburg. The role focuses on supporting the conveyancing transfer process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and process conveyancing transfer documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks related to property transfers.
  • Coordinate with solicitors, clients, and external parties to ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Provide clerical support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Required profile

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in conveyancing transfers.
  • Residence within Houghton or a maximum 30‑minute drive to the office.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
