Construction Support Manager – Western Cape

About the role

Our client is a well‑established construction support services company that delivers contractual, commercial and quantity surveying services to projects across South Africa. They are looking for an experienced Construction Support Manager to lead construction support services in the Western Cape. The role is based in Cape Town CBD and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts, finance and resources for multiple construction projects.
• Provide professional quantity surveying services throughout all project stages.
• Oversee stakeholder liaison and ensure effective communication with clients and site teams.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with contracts.
• Advise clients on site matters and support project close‑out activities.
• Coordinate inception, concept, feasibility, documentation, procurement and construction phases.
• Perform additional duties as required and maintain compliance with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Construction‑related qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s in Project Management, Quantity Surveying or related field).
• Eligibility for professional registration with a relevant body such as SACQSP.
• Proven management experience in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated business development capabilities.
• Experience with construction contract administration (JBCC, NEC).
• Working knowledge of construction contract software and frameworks.
• Understanding of financial risk management and mitigation.
