Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Community Manager to help a UK‑based brand build and nurture its online communities. The role is fully remote and ideal for a South African professional comfortable working across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activity on social media channels and community platforms.
• Respond to queries, moderate discussions and ensure brand‑aligned communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders in different time zones.
• Maintain records of community metrics, engagement data and content calendars.
• Use scheduling, forum and analytics tools to plan and evaluate content.
• Support content creation, campaign launches and community events.
• Identify growth opportunities to increase engagement and brand loyalty.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in community management or social media.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple platforms.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Experience with UK‑based clients is a plus.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
