Clinical Pharmacist – Hospital, Bermuda

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join an established hospital in Bermuda. The role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services, ensuring safe medication use, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in a vibrant island setting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, interpret and evaluate medication orders, identifying drug‑related problems.
• Dispense narcotics and maintain perpetual inventory records.
• Oversee manufacturing, packaging and dispensing processes, ensuring compliance with IV‑room policies.
• Prepare sterile IV products and chemotherapeutic agents using aseptic technique.
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and deliver clinical pharmacy services in designated areas.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, profile checks and medication area inspections.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians, preregistration and undergraduate pharmacists.
• Provide coverage for other pharmacy units as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of a recognised School of Pharmacy.
• Post‑graduate clinical qualification (UK MClin or US Pharm.D) or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacist licence with the Bermuda Health Council.
• Minimum two years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience supervising or mentoring professional and technical staff.
