Clinical Facilitator - Theatre

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator – Theatre will plan and deliver training and development interventions to ensure nursing staff maintain competency across the hospital’s theatre environment. The role supports continuous professional development and ensures correct application of nursing procedures and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the competence of all nursing staff.
• Ensure the correct application of nursing procedures and policies.
• Identify training needs and design appropriate clinical training interventions.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Professional Nurse qualification with a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education, or 3 years mentoring experience plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing for specialist units.
• Minimum of 3 years professional nursing experience in a hospital and 1 year mentor experience.
