About the role
We are looking for an experienced Civil / Geotechnical Engineer to join an established engineering team working on tailings and geotechnical projects. Successful applicants must have at least five years of experience in tailings or geotechnical engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the design of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs).
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments.
- Perform slope stability analysis.
- Assist with water balance and stormwater management planning.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
- Participate in site inspections, monitoring and risk assessments.
- Support compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum five years of relevant tailings or geotechnical experience.
- ECSA registration or progress toward registration preferred.
- Willingness to travel to mining and project sites.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
