Checker Operator – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

The Checker Operator is responsible for loading, unloading and stacking materials safely and efficiently while upholding AB‑InBev’s governance, customer service standards and company values.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip forklift inspections and ensure optimal equipment condition, including fuel and fluid levels.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Manage stock quality by applying rotation principles and checking packaging before loading.
• Execute accurate loading and unloading of vehicles, update shipment status in SAP and generate Power BI KPI reports.
• Perform daily stock counts with handheld devices, generate variance reports in SAP and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with inventory managers, controllers and supervisors throughout each shift.

Required profile

• Good understanding of DPO principles and ability to run and manage a shift.
• Capability to work under pressure, including weekends when required.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly KPIs in line with DPO terms of reference.
• Apply problem‑solving tools such as 5 Why and abnormality reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with freshness and rotation policies.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (license preferred).
• Proficiency in SAP for inventory and transaction management.
• Experience with Power BI for KPI reporting.
• Use of handheld devices for stock counting.
