Calibration Technician

About the role

Join a global calibration team delivering high‑quality calibration services to Atlas Copco customers across Sub‑Saharan Africa. Based in Jet Park, Boksburg, you will work closely with the Service Business Line and report to the Service Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment calibrations following national and international standards.
• Manage audits, certifications, and traceability of measuring equipment.
• Provide calibration quotes, tenders, and ensure turnaround‑time KPIs are met.
• Support the laboratory management system and improve calibration procedures.
• Assist colleagues with laboratory and on‑site tasks, and collaborate with product specialists.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance or metrology.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
• Valid driver’s licence.
