Buyer – Procurement & Sourcing

About the role

Falco Milano Eyewear & Optics is seeking a full‑time Buyer to join its Cape Town office. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, sourcing high‑quality materials, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to support the brand’s fashion‑forward eyewear collections.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Source and negotiate procurement of materials and finished goods.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and cost‑effective sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory flow, and coordinate with product and design teams.
• Align purchasing decisions with seasonal demands and market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.
• Strong analytical abilities for market research and trend evaluation.
• Experience in inventory management and supply‑chain coordination.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
