Branch Manager – Midrand

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead a team of financial and client‑relations consultants at the Midrand branch, ensuring that sales targets and service standards are consistently met. This position is accountable for overall branch performance, profitability, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of insurance and lending products, referrals, and collections while meeting daily to quarterly targets.
• Manage the branch as a profit centre, balancing product mix, service quality, and expenses.
• Supervise, appraise, and develop the consultant team, handling attendance, disciplinary matters, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and audit requirements, addressing any non‑compliance proactively.
• Identify and develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and formal development plans.
• Plan and monitor daily activities, adjusting resources to maintain productivity and meet targets.
• Maintain branch operations, including expense control, resource allocation, and equipment upkeep.
• Deliver superior customer service by resolving client queries and complaints promptly.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate referrals and business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 4 – Grade 12, School Leaving Certificate, National or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing a sales‑focused team within financial services or insurance.
• Strong understanding of branch profitability, expense management, and compliance standards.
