Area Manager – Agro‑Industrial Technical Sales (Paarl)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated technical sales specialist to join our Sales Department and help grow UNITEC’s South African branch in Paarl.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers in the agro‑industrial market.
• Visit customer facilities regularly to understand operational needs, gather technical information and support the creation of customized solutions and commercial proposals.
• Manage projects from initial assessment through commissioning and start‑up of processing lines.

Required profile

• Experience in the fruit & vegetable sector, agro‑processing or industrial machinery.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with industrial or agricultural processes (a technical degree is a plus).
• Willingness and flexibility to travel across the region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional, transparent approach.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong listening, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Reliability, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
