Architectural Support Technician

About the role

The Support Technician (Architectural) will assist the Executive Committee (EXCO) of SAOTA & ARRCC by creating and maintaining high‑quality internal architectural documentation, drawings, templates and digital assets. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual with strong technical skills who enjoys producing accurate work for internal use and supporting executive‑level projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop building presentation templates and design guideline workbooks.
• Create basic internal web page designs for EXCO use.
• Produce and edit drawings required for in‑house projects.
• Provide graphic support for the SharePoint online library.
• Document product samples and maintain digital material assets for Revit and Lumion.
• Tag architectural elements, styles and materials in the project library.
• Assist with cataloguing materials and products and support material sourcing research.

Required profile

• Architectural degree or Architectural Technology diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to work accurately, independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Revit (essential).
• Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign (essential).
• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (essential).
• Lumion (advantageous).
