Architect CAD & Construction Documentation - Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect with strong CAD and construction documentation skills to join our team on a remote contract basis. You will create precise architectural drawings, integrate electrical schematics and PCB layouts, and deliver comprehensive documentation packages that meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements.
• Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes.
• Prepare accurate GD&T callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi‑sheet electrical schematics to industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts, ensuring manufacturability and functional integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver thorough documentation packages consistent with project milestones and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard 2D/3D CAD and PCB layout design tools.
• Proven ability to generate and interpret GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience developing multi‑sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multi‑document sets.
• Advanced communication skills in English.
• Experience working on remote, cross‑functional projects is a plus.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (or equivalent 2D CAD software).
• Revit or SolidWorks (3D CAD tools).
• Altium Designer or KiCad (PCB layout design).
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Electrical schematic software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
