About the role
We are seeking an energetic, guest‑focused Apart Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Cape Town. In this hands‑on position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless check‑in experience and delivering exceptional service throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and ensure a smooth arrival experience.
- Address guest questions, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Coordinate with Guest Experience, Property Managers, Operations, and Concierges to resolve issues.
- Handle email, message, and phone inquiries professionally.
- Create bookings, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the team daily to solve problems and improve service.
Required profile
- Minimum 1.5 years of reception, hotel, or hospitality experience.
- Based in Cape Town and available to work shift patterns.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Tech‑savvy, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
- Team player committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
