Analytics Engineer

About the role

Lyra Health’s international data team is redesigning its data architecture, moving from a legacy SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSAS and Power BI stack to Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Tableau and Sigma. This role offers the chance to share best‑practice knowledge on Snowflake and dbt while building a brand‑new data infrastructure from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines to ingest data from Salesforce and various other sources.
• Develop and maintain dbt models using a Medallion architecture for downstream BI tools.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to monitor and implement enhancements to the data warehouse based on stakeholder reporting needs.
• Work closely with team members across different time zones.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven experience building ingestion and transformation pipelines using REST APIs, AWS S3 and Airflow.
• Hands‑on experience creating dbt models with Medallion architecture.
• Experience maintaining dimensional models with Type 2 SCDs and star schemas.
• Background in maintaining data warehouses on SQL Server.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across time zones.
