Agile Project Manager

About the role

The Agile Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale, outcome‑based software projects within a managed services environment. Acting as a hybrid Agile practitioner and project manager, you will be the primary interface between development teams, internal stakeholders and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets for multi‑phase software delivery projects lasting up to 12 months.
• Define project scope, deliverables, milestones and success criteria aligned to customer‑agreed outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, track actuals versus forecasts and flag cost risks early.
• Own timelines, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present regular status reports covering effort, cost, progress and key risks.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure consistent Agile practice.
• Support Product Owners in backlog prioritisation and communicate priorities clearly to the delivery team.
• Motivate, coach and empower team members, track capacity and prevent burnout.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions.
• Manage requirement gathering, ensure traceability and follow change‑management governance.

Required profile

• Hybrid Agile practitioner and project manager with experience delivering complex software projects.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder expectations.
• Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and applying Agile practices.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the primary interface between teams and customers.
• Capability to motivate, coach and empower self‑organising teams.
