About the role
The Admin Clerk supports the daily operations of the Potchefstroom Factory Shop by handling administrative tasks, stock control, cash management and customer queries. This role ensures accurate record‑keeping and smooth service delivery within a busy retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, verify and control incoming stock.
- Maintain inventory records using the Syspro system.
- Perform cash‑up procedures and assist with cash handling at the shop.
- Conduct regular stock‑taking and reconcile discrepancies.
- Support attendance and leave administration for shop staff.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve issues.
- Provide operational support to cashiers when required.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with shop staff and customers.
- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and stock reconciliation.
Required skills
- Experience using Syspro or similar ERP inventory systems.
