About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join a leading global mining organisation operating in Johannesburg North. The role involves managing the full accounting function and supporting the finance team in delivering accurate financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Perform the full accounting function for the business.
- Prepare and process general ledger reconciliations and month‑end activities.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process journals and accruals.
- Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
- Support statutory and audit requirements.
Required profile
- BCom Degree in Accounting.
- SAIPA or SAICA Articles (advantageous).
- 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Previous experience in the mining industry.
Required skills
What we offer
- Annual salary between R600 000 and R700 000.
