Account Executive

About the role

The Account Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Cape Town, managing a portfolio of catering and food‑service clients. The role focuses on building strong relationships, ensuring contractual service levels are met, and supporting business growth through renewals and upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining regular contact and addressing inquiries.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate with operations and catering teams to deliver agreed‑upon services.
• Track account performance, analyse data and produce reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Support contract renewals, identify upselling opportunities and assist with business development initiatives.
• Resolve service issues promptly and report on client feedback and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, client service or sales, preferably within catering, hospitality or related service industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on‑site with occasional travel between client locations in Cape Town.
• Relevant qualification in business, sales, hospitality management or equivalent practical experience.
