About the role

The Account Executive will lead strategic key accounts for Vodacom, building long‑term relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive profitable growth, enhance customer experience, and increase market share across our portfolio of voice and data solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet revenue, market share, and net margin targets while managing the P&L.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner, cultivating C‑level connections and leveraging them to generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, both for existing and new products, within targeted accounts.
  • Coordinate with Vodacom’s internal functions to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and share comprehensive account plans and complex sales roadmaps with stakeholders.
  • Own escalated customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining trust.
  • Support finance in recovering overdue payments and resolve pricing or trading account issues.
  • Provide regular revenue forecasts and market trend analyses.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing strategic accounts and delivering on financial targets.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with senior decision‑makers.
  • Excellent analytical skills for forecasting and market assessment.
  • Effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
