About the role
Join homechoice’s showroom team in the Eastern Cape to deliver an exceptional in‑store experience. You will engage customers, demonstrate products, and process orders to meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers on the showroom floor, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, pricing and promotional offers in line with the current catalogue.
- Capture and process customer orders, payments, refunds and credits accurately and timely.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, pricing accuracy and stay informed of promotions.
- Support basic stock handling, floor replenishment and ensure visual merchandising standards.
- Adhere to cash‑handling procedures, compliance policies and report any risks or discrepancies.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a target‑driven environment.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Clear credit and criminal record.
- Homeware retail experience is an advantage.
