Strategic Account Manager – Sub‑Saharan Africa

About the role

Elanco is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead sales growth across its Sub‑Saharan Africa export territory. You will be responsible for building long‑term relationships with key distributors and producers, delivering value‑added solutions, and expanding market share for our animal health portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and monitor strategic account plans to meet or exceed sales and distribution targets.
• Prepare territory business plans aligned with commercial objectives and manage key distributor and veterinary clinic relationships.
• Identify emerging opportunities, market trends and potential risks in export markets.
• Present business reviews, negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and contract terms.
• Coordinate internal resources (technical, supply chain, regulatory) to fulfil customer commitments.
• Conduct regular market analysis and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
