Store Manager (45HR) – Markham Watercrest Mall

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Watercrest Mall location in Markham, driving sales performance, managing expenses and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This full‑time role (45 hours per week) reports to regional leadership and is responsible for the overall success of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Control operating expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
• Lead people management activities including recruitment, staff development, employee relations and performance management.
• Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the company’s customer service strategy.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, with at least 1 year in a store leadership role.

Required skills

• Ability to drive turnover and achieve sales targets.
• Expense control and stock loss management.
• People management – recruitment, development, performance oversight.
