Soft Services Regional Manager (Cape Town)

About the role

The Soft Services Regional Manager will lead a large, multi‑site cleaning portfolio in Cape Town, overseeing three Area Managers, site supervisors and a workforce of over 300 cleaners. This hands‑on position ensures that hygiene standards, contractual SLAs and client expectations are consistently met across corporate, retail, education and industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop three Area Managers and site supervisors to deliver high‑quality cleaning services.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and performance of more than 300 cleaning staff.
• Ensure compliance with strict hygiene standards, health & safety regulations and client SLAs.
• Oversee budget management, cost control and financial performance of a portfolio generating turnover in the millions.
• Maintain and grow relationships with a diverse client base, including blue‑chip corporates and industrial sites.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in a service‑provider environment.
• Proven responsibility for portfolios exceeding R3 million in turnover.
• Direct management experience of large‑scale cleaning teams.
• Strong leadership and hands‑on operational skills.
