Senior Specialist – Enterprise Business Development

About the role

Lead and manage Openserve's existing sales pipeline while developing new enterprise market opportunities. Create compelling business proposals, identify market trends and customer needs, and build strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Actively grow Openserve Enterprise Market business portfolio revenue.
• Manage strategic customer accounts and nurture relationships to increase account revenue.
• Monitor industry trends, customer requirements and technological changes, ensuring alignment with Openserve's commercial strategy.
• Lead the proposal response process, handling detailed RFP requirements, content creation and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Generate new leads, identify decision‑makers, screen potential opportunities and coordinate pitch logistics.
• Support deal structuring and pricing with business‑value analysis and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.

Required profile

• National Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Certificate (NQF 6) preferably in Commerce, Telecommunications, Sales & Marketing.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong business acumen, financial management and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience in enterprise and system‑integrator markets within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven leadership, project management and cross‑functional teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
