Senior Enterprise Business Development Specialist

About the role

Openserve is looking for a senior specialist to lead and grow its enterprise business development efforts. You will manage the existing sales pipeline while creating new market opportunities, shaping proposals and building strategic partnerships across the enterprise segment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth for Openserve’s enterprise market portfolio.
• Manage strategic customer accounts, nurture relationships and expand account revenue.
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs and technology changes to align with Openserve’s commercial strategy.
• Lead the proposal response process, including RFP analysis, content creation and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Generate new leads, identify decision‑makers, evaluate opportunities and coordinate pitch logistics.
• Support deal structuring, pricing and business‑value analysis, and negotiate terms for bids and proposals.

Required profile

• National Diploma/Advanced Diploma or equivalent (NQF 6) in Commerce, Telecommunications, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and work with a results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
