About the role
We are looking for a professional Receptionist to join the Guarding Division at our Durban office. The role is the first point of contact for visitors, clients and staff, ensuring a welcoming and efficiently managed front‑of‑house environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor all entrances continuously and control access.
- Receive visitors and deliveries, directing them appropriately.
- Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and order.
- Operate the switchboard, answer incoming calls and route them correctly.
- Facilitate clear communication between staff members and clients.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or front‑office clerk.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual ability (English plus any other South African language).
- Professional appearance, punctuality and a clean disciplinary/criminal record.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
