Plumber – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

The plumber will join our maintenance team to deliver reliable plumbing services across our facilities. You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining a range of plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations on plumbing fixtures such as geysers, taps, urinals, water meters and drainage systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly site inspections to identify defects, hazards and potential failures.
• Log maintenance calls, complete job cards accurately and maintain workshop cleanliness.
• Provide courteous service to clients and occupants, communicating progress and completion.
• Adhere to safety, health, environmental and quality policies, complying with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification.
• Plumbing Trade Test certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in plumbing and building maintenance.
• Experience with general plumbing installations and repairs.
