About the Position
A well-established law firm located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg is seeking a highly organized and professional Personal Assistant / Office Manager. This pivotal role is designed to streamline our administrative operations, allowing our legal professionals to focus entirely on delivering excellence to our clients.
Main Missions
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team to optimize their productivity.
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating office activities.
- Assist in the preparation, typing, and meticulous proofreading of legal documents.
- Support the litigation team with specific administrative tasks and case management.
- Open, maintain, and update client files within specialized legal software systems.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and oversee compliance processes.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in office management or administration, ideally within a law firm environment.
- Minimum requirement: Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding legal documentation and compliance.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in legal software and digital filing systems.
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
