Multi-Disciplinary Project Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

BVi Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced Multi‑Disciplinary Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from the Cape Town office. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, coordinate engineering teams, and ensure delivery that meets client expectations, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewable energy projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close‑out.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and specialist teams for integrated delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, and resource plans.
• Monitor performance, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as primary contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, facilitating meetings and progress reporting.
• Support contract administration, scope changes, and financial performance monitoring.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Professional Engineer registration (Pr.Eng) or PMP certification.
• 5–10 years of project management experience on multidisciplinary infrastructure or energy projects.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed.
