Millwright – Maintenance & Installation Specialist

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a Millwright to maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of production equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, modifications and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of new or modified machinery.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to implement technical solutions.
• Participate in root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation and plant schematics.
• Utilise SAP to manage maintenance activities, spare parts and technical information.

Required profile

• NQF Level 4 qualification in Engineering Studies or related field.
• Recognised Millwright Trade Certificate.
• 3‑5 years’ experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a production setting.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
