Layout Design Specialist

About the role

Capitec is seeking a Layout Design Specialist to lead the design of floor layouts for new and upgraded bank branches. The role focuses on creating functional and visually appealing branch environments, including signage, communication displays, and overall look and feel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop constructional designs for branch floor layouts, cash device placements, and branch alterations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, landlords, and tenant coordinators to ensure design compliance.
• Manage external and internal branch signage and in‑branch communication elements.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and corporate branding guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design and construction.
• Grade 12 with a National Certificate or vocational qualification; a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle, and a clear criminal and credit record.
• Commitment to diversity and employment equity goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong project‑management methodology knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, commercial thinking, and interpersonal skills.
