Interbound Sales Advisor

About the role

OUTsurance, a South African insurer founded 28 years ago, is hiring a full-time Interbound Sales Advisor in Centurion. The role converts leads and quotes into sales against minimum targets, in a team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Convert leads and quotes into sales against minimum quantity and quality targets, including average monthly premium written, average premium value and nett conversion ratio of quotes to sales.
• Meet facility quality, cancellation ratio and productivity targets, and achieve First Day Close (FDC).
• Handle objections.

Required profile

• Matric.
• FAIS Regulatory Exam.
• Recognized qualification depending on previous advice-giving roles.
• Sales-oriented, attention to detail, deadline and results oriented, with initiative, teamwork, judgement, adaptability, integrity and tolerance for stress.

Required skills

• Selling, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the sales structure, client service principles and call centre operations.
• Computer literacy and product/systems knowledge, or ability to learn it quickly.
