About the role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Greet, assist and direct guests in a courteous manner.
- Provide consistent, high‑quality customer service in person, by phone and via email.
- Process guest check‑ins, check‑outs and payments accurately.
- Manage telephone calls, email inquiries and reservation requests promptly.
- Record and file all correspondence and documentation correctly.
- Guarantee bookings and apply appropriate no‑show or late‑cancellation charges.
- Review and fulfil special guest requests.
- Resolve guest issues efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing customer relations face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service abilities across multiple channels (in‑person, telephone, email).
Required skills
- Familiarity with Opera hotel management software.
