About the role

Superbalist.com is seeking a dynamic Home & Living Buyer to drive the growth of its fashion‑forward e‑tail platform. You will manage multiple categories, secure top‑tier brands, and negotiate pricing to deliver fast‑fashion merchandise for a young, millennial audience.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop seasonal trend guides using internal and external resources.
• Collaborate with Retail Analyst to build balanced assortments across third‑party brands and private labels.
• Sign, build and maintain partnerships with leading brands, ensuring best price, value offers and exclusive ranges.
• Negotiate profitable trading terms and ensure supplier contracts are in place.
• Work with suppliers and supply chain to guarantee timely, cost‑effective delivery to the warehouse.
• Monitor stock, sales, margin and assortment to meet KPI targets.
• Trade the range in‑season through data analysis to drive sell‑through and reduce markdowns.
• Stay ahead of global and local market trends via social media, tools and competitive shopping.

Required profile

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Marketing, Design, BSc or BCom.
• 3–5 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in home and living buying.
• Strong adaptability, clear communication and ability to work across multiple departments.
• High level of organization, attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite.
