French‑Speaking Customer Service Agent – Cape Town

About the role

Join a leading global customer experience provider as a French‑speaking Customer Service Agent in Woodstock, Cape Town. You will support a Canadian shipping client by handling inbound inquiries from French‑language customers regarding parcel delivery, tracking, and service issues.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to French‑language customer calls and messages with professionalism and empathy.
• Investigate delivery‑related queries, provide accurate tracking updates, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain clear, detailed case notes and ensure first‑contact resolution whenever possible.
• Handle complaints in line with quality standards and meet individual and team performance targets.
• Adapt to evolving processes and collaborate with teammates in a fast‑paced contact‑centre environment.

Required profile

• Matric qualification or equivalent contact‑centre experience.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work night shifts (3 pm – 6 am, Monday to Sunday) and handle a high volume of interactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using contact‑centre software and basic computer applications.
