Early Careers Graduate Programme 2027

About the role

Vodacom is launching its 2027 Early Careers Programme, a two‑year full‑time graduate development track designed to fast‑track high‑potential graduates into future leadership roles within the company. The programme starts on 1 February 2027 and includes global rotations, hands‑on projects and a pathway to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cross‑functional assignments across Vodacom’s business units.
• Complete international rotation(s) to gain exposure to different markets.
• Lead or contribute to projects that address real‑world business challenges.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior leaders.

Required profile

• Graduating with a B‑degree (B‑Com, BSc, B‑Tech) or a 3‑year National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering or IT (NQF 7/6).
• Minimum aggregate of 65 % in most recent academic results.
• Less than two years of post‑study corporate work experience.
• South African citizenship or permanent residency (citizens of DRC, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Egypt and Tanzania also encouraged).
• Demonstrated learning agility, digital readiness, collaboration and problem‑solving abilities.

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to telecom operations.
