Concrete Foreman (Cape Town)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our on‑site concrete operations in Cape Town. The role is full‑time and involves supervising crews, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all concrete works including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, finishing and curing.
• Lead and manage concrete crews and labour teams on a daily basis.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, setting‑out information and specifications.
• Plan and schedule daily work, allocate labour and plant resources.
• Ensure quality workmanship and conduct checks before and after pours.
• Manage materials, equipment and concrete deliveries on site.
• Enforce health and safety requirements and conduct toolbox talks.
• Monitor productivity, track progress against programme milestones and resolve site issues.
• Maintain daily records of labour, plant and concrete activities.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in concrete construction.
• Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of formwork, reinforcement and concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and levels.
• Experience managing site labour and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
