C&I Engineer – Industrial Automation & Control

About the role

The C&I Engineer will lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our industrial automation and reporting software. You will work closely with EC&I technicians and multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure reliable monitoring and control of plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own existing automation and reporting platforms and drive their evolution.
• Develop new industrial automation tools and integrate software packages as required.
• Provide operational support for monitoring and control systems, including on‑site commissioning.
• Perform software change requests and guide EC&I technicians.
• Create and maintain standards, templates and control logic.
• Implement control software and develop reporting tools using Ignition, SQL and Flow.
• Design Ignition Perspective templates and maintain existing monitoring applications.

Required profile

• B.Eng in Electronic, Mechatronic, Control & Instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industrial automation and software development.
• At least 3 years with Ignition Vision/Perspective and Adroit platforms.
• 2 years of on‑site commissioning or operational support, preferably in water‑treatment.
• Strong interest and experience in machine learning, AI and data science.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
