Business Development Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to join our SMB team at Pnet, part of the StepStone Group. You will be responsible for acquiring new business partners and helping them transform their hiring processes using our job‑board solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage a pipeline of high‑quality leads using various sourcing techniques.
• Prospect, cold‑call and close deals, persuading companies to adopt Pnet’s recruitment solutions.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic conversations, product usage tracking and upselling opportunities.
• Renew contracts and ensure client satisfaction.
• Accurately handle administrative tasks and reporting in the CRM system.
• Participate in training and development activities to continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated B2B sales success with a strong cold‑calling track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen to customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently within a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
