Bar Manager – The Excelsior Florence

About the role

The Excelsior Florence is seeking a motivated Bar Manager to create memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and a vibrant bar environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain bar stations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve drinks, and handle payments.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to company policies and health standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance), and moving across uneven surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read and verify menu information accurately.
• Willingness to work on feet and perform the physical duties described.
