Academy Manager

About the role

The Academy Manager – Business Support Centre (BSC) leads the design, development and delivery of the functional learning academy within Capitec’s BSC. The role focuses on building employee capabilities through structured learning pathways, blended programmes and professional accreditation aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an academy framework with tiered learning paths (foundation, intermediate, advanced).
• Design and deliver blended learning solutions (online, classroom, experiential) in partnership with subject‑matter experts and external providers.
• Manage academy operations, including budgeting, vendor contracts and quality assurance.
• Integrate the academy’s activities with the BSC strategy by engaging stakeholders and aligning programmes to business needs.
• Provide people management and coaching to the academy team and ensure governance and compliance.
