Weighbridge Clerk

About the role

Afrimat CM Western Cape is seeking a Weighbridge Clerk on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to support dispatch and load scheduling at the Peak Quarry in Eersteriver.

Key responsibilities

• Capture data and complete various reports such as diesel reports, Yams, and ASMS/maintenance job cards.
• Assist with dispatch operations and schedule loads according to orders.
• Analyze order quantities required for each job and verify loads.
• Maintain accurate records of all orders received and dispatched, ensuring delivery notes are signed.
• Report any dispatch or related problems to the immediate superior promptly.
• Adhere to all SHE rules, induction training, and quality‑assurance requirements on site.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the mining environment.
• Good understanding of legal aspects pertaining to a mine/quarry.
• Basic financial skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Leadership, administrative capabilities, ability to work under pressure, and safety consciousness.
