Waiter

About the role

The Waiter will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to guests at a hospitality venue in Lephalale. The role focuses on creating a welcoming dining experience, ensuring orders are accurate and timely, and maintaining a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests professionally.
• Present menus, explain items, and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and drinks according to service standards.
• Check on guests during meals and address any concerns.
• Prepare and clear tables, maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Process bills and handle cash, card, and receipt transactions.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
• Follow health, safety, and food‑handling regulations.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 10‑12) certificate; hospitality training is a plus.
• Previous waiter or customer‑service experience preferred; entry‑level candidates may be trained.
• Friendly, polite, energetic, reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work under pressure, stand for long periods and carry trays.
