Video Producer – Long‑Form Content for YouTube & Partnerships

About the role

We are seeking a creative Video Producer based in South Africa to own the end‑to‑end development of long‑form video content for YouTube, ambassador collaborations, and partner initiatives. You will transform ideas into engaging productions, guiding each piece from concept through final edit while leveraging audience insights and modern production tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling long‑form video concepts for YouTube, ambassadors, and partnerships.
• Plan and source required footage, including existing streams, tournament coverage, commissioned shoots, and partner material.
• Shape story structure, identify narrative hooks, and ensure pacing that retains viewers.
• Direct the editing process, either by editing yourself or briefing editors, while aligning titles, thumbnails, and video promises.
• Adapt creative tone and visual style to suit different channels, brands, and audiences.
• Manage production schedules across multiple projects and meet content calendar deadlines.
• Analyze audience‑retention data to refine future concepts and editing decisions.
• Collaborate with ambassador and partnership teams on briefs, footage needs, and delivery timelines.
• Identify and implement AI‑powered or modern production tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Proven portfolio of long‑form video content that successfully engaged and retained audiences.
• Ability to clearly explain creative concepts, structural decisions, and performance outcomes.
• Strong understanding of poker as entertainment, including player personalities, stakes, stories, and key moments.
