Trainee Manager – Johannesburg West, West Rand and Soweto

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Johannesburg West, West Rand and Soweto stores as a Trainee Manager. This role provides comprehensive training to develop the skills needed to run a Shoprite retail outlet, ensuring the brand’s standards are upheld while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and execute daily operational and administrative tasks in line with Shoprite policies.
• Assist in managing store staff, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee stock handling, inventory control, and replenishment processes.
• Ensure security procedures are followed and store assets are protected.
• Support initiatives to maximise store profitability and meet sales targets.
